How to Enable Check Store Feature in a Headquarters Environment

To enable this box in your Store Operations Manager Inventory Items program please follow these steps: 

  1. Open Store Operations Administrator. Go to Start -> All Programs -> Microsoft Dynamics RMS -> Store Operations Administrator.
  2. Click File -> Configuration.
  3. On the HQ Client tab check the following settings:
    1. Address - Hostname or IP Address of the computer running HQ Client for that store.
    2. Port - By default 34202, if the HQ client is configured differently use that port number.
  4. Press OK.
  5. Open Incoming and Outgoing Port 34202 or the port your client uses in your firewall.

Your Store Operations Manager under Inventory/Items will now have the Check Store Button enabled.
         
*Close Store Operations Manager and or POS and restart these programs after applying these settings
*This has to be done at each store location.
